Fast Boats between Bali and Gili Trawangan

You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) fast boat operator, based at Benoa Harbour in the south of Bali (15 minutes from Seminyak, Kuta and Sanur).  The boat departs daily at 9:00am, arriving at Gili Trawangan between 11:00 - 11:30am, depending on sea conditions.  The boat then leaves again at around 12pm to make its return trip to Bali.  A pick-up service is available from your hotel in Bali to the harbor, and can be organised through the Island Getaway office by email.

For those guests who want to take a fast boat to Gili Trawangan, and are coming from the east of Bali or Ubud, Gili Cat’s speedboat leaves from Padang Bai Harbour.  The boat departs daily at 9:00am, arriving to Gili Trawangan around 10:30am.  Pick-up services from your hotel to the harbour can be organised through the Gili Cat office.

The price for both boats is around Rp600,000 for a one-way adult ticket.  Children travel for around Rp350,000 one-way.  Children under 2 years old travel for free.  All prices include a hotel transfer from the Seminyak, Kuta and Sanur areas of Bali.  Places further afield are subject to an additional collection fee.  For exact rates please contact the speedboat companies directly.

Flights between Bali and Lombok

There are usually around five flights a day between Bali and Lombok.  The flight takes just under 30 minutes, and from Lombok International Airport, Lombok, we can arrange a transfer to the island for you.  The transfer includes an air-conditioned car from the airport to a small harbor 2 hours away, followed by a 10-15 minute speedboat ride across to Gili Trawangan.

The cost of the airport transfer varies according to the number of people traveling.  The cost for two people is Rp800,000 one-way.  The cost for four people is Rp850,000.  For rates on other group sizes, please contact us. 

The prices for flights fluctuates according to the time of year.  During the low season tickets can be found for as little as Rp200,000 one-way, going up to almost Rp550,000 in high season.  Tickets can be purchased direct from the airline counters in Bali or Lombok, or alternatively you can contact local travel agents to source the tickets for you.  There are some airlines which you can now book online such as www2.lionair.co.id and www.merpati.co.id.  This is where you are likely to get the best prices.
