The Tir Na Nog Restaurant, Gili Trawangan
As of February 2013, we have introduced our new and improved ‘Restaurant Menu’. Having worked closely with our recently appointed western head chef, Rob, we have made vast improvements on an already popular island menu.
We have kept all the house favourites intact, such as our famous kebabs, our extensive burger menu and our freshly made wood fired pizzas, but on top of this, we have introduced a great range of traditional pub meals, and have also included several new vegetarian options. Aside from the main meals, there have also been some great additions to both our starters and dessert options. The menu incorporates a wide selection of organically, locally produced food from both Lombok and Bali. The produce is delivered on a daily basis ensuring quality and freshness. We feel we offer a good variety for both tourists and locals alike, from our Nasi Goreng (Indonesia’s favourite dish) to our imported Australian steak. We also have a nightly BBQ, with freshly caught fish and fish fillets, and a great salad bar.
Enjoy your food by the lapping sea and under the stars in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, before settling down to one of our cocktails or a cold beer, and chill out to some of the islands best music.
The Tir Na Nog Bar, Gili Trawangan
Having originally been a stand-alone bar when the business opened in 2000, we have now expanded to encompass a restaurant and accommodation as well, but we still take great pride in providing a fun, safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our evening customers. The bar has its designated “Party Night” on a Wednesday, and you can expect this to be a lively event. On Tuesday’s we host a weekly Silent Disco, on Friday’s we have themed music nights and guest DJ’s, and on Sundays we put on a Ladies Night, which is 50% OFF all local cocktails for both boys and girls. In our barn-like inside bar, we have a projector and big screen where we show sporting events, and are open to requests; if we can show it, we will show it.
